How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Orders within Canada are shipped via Canada Post. We try to ship orders within two business days, but occasionally we will be backlogged. Please check our online store for such notices. Parcels usually take 5-7 business days after being shipped to reach most locations in Canada.
Are sprouts safe to eat?
Sprouts, like any fresh live food, carry a small risk of pathogen contamination, but we take it very seriously. Each lot is sampled as it arrives in our warehouse. Samples are sent to an independent lab to be sprouted and tested for salmonella and E. coli.
We sell only certified organic seeds, which have been a vital source of nutrition for many civilizations over the past 5000 years. Sprouts have the highest amount of vitamins, minerals, and enzymes of any food per calorie unit to bolster the immune system.
Where does your seed come from?
The Fresh Greens Company is partnering with other organic farmers who produce high-quality sprouting seed. About 85% of our seed comes from organic farms in Canada.
Are your seeds and products non-GMO?
We’re so glad to hear that you’re aware of the danger of GMOs in our food system, and that you’re actively working to consume foods that are GMO-free!
Yes, all of the seeds we sell are non-GMO and certified organic.
